September 15, 2018, we want you to join us in celebrating ten years of extraordinary partnership between Mason City Schools and the Mason Schools Foundation. Through reading challenges, walk-a-thons, galas, corporate sponsors, personal donations and generous community support we have given over $800,000 in grants to MCS since the beginning of the Foundation ten years ago. What started as an impactful and thoughtful way for the Campbell Family to make a generous donation to our schools in honor of the education of their grandchild, has grown into a catalyst for change, an inspiration for new ideas, and a push for innovation throughout our District.

The Mason Schools Foundation is an independent non-profit organization (EIN: 26-2662719) supporting the Mason City School District. We fund grants proposed by Mason educators in the areas of academics, athletics, the arts, and diverse learners. You can learn more about the grants and the Foundation at www.masonschoolsfoundation.org. You will find photos and highlights of our grants in action by following us on Facebook. As in the past ten years, we will have silent and live auction items to offer our guests in addition to sponsorship opportunities. Your support will allow us to continue a tradition of excellence in Mason City Schools by providing programs and resources that fall outside of the scope of ever-shrinking district budgets.
